(Spectral) Induced Polarization
including 2 .5D and 3D Inversions, Modelling and Interpretation
Induced Polarization (IP) is a galvanic survey that measures the electrical capacitance, or chargeability, of the subsurface by inducing a charge distribution and then measuring the decay of this distribution as it returns to an equilibrium. Although chargeability is a poorly understood phenomenon in geophysics, it has been proven over the years to respond well to mapping disseminated sulphides.
Platform collectively has over 40 years of experience collecting, processing and interpreting IP data. We understand how to properly apply IP to your project. We can help you incorporate this data into your model and point your drill toward the most prospective geological target.
